About

Nick Mann

Photographer

A native to Urbana-Champaign, Nick is already an accomplished professional photographer at age 20. It started when he got his first digital camera for a vacation and it grew on him from there. Photography is a way for Nick to capture beautiful and interesting scenes, preserve memories, and have fun. He sees his professional self as more of a camera operator, making his employer's vision a reality, than as an artist, showing his own vision for the world.

Long-time friend of OJC Design Director Danielle Chynoweth, she hooked him into the professional loop and aided his first gallery show at Urbana's Boneyard Arts Festival. He has shared his eye with OJC for many projects since, and has also worked for other local C-U businesses, including Primelight Studio, WILL AM-FM-TV, and the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Nick is currently a full time student at Parkland College. He has had several shows of his artistic work around town. His personal work can be seen at NickMannPhotography.com.
