OJC delivers new OVP website with calendar, database

Urbana, IL (September 27) - OJC Technologies, an information technology company specializing in software, database, and website development, today announced completion of its new website for the Office of Volunteer Programs (OVP) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The new site features compelling graphics, intuitive navigation, a searchable database of student service organizations, and an interactive calendar of events.

"Not fully understanding how we wanted to change our site, let alone what goes into creating a site, OJC went above and beyond in order to make sure we felt comfortable in this process. They helped us better understand our needs and aspirations through their helpful guidance," says Kathy Guthrie, director of OVP.

Ms. Guthrie continues, "OJC helped to educate and guide us throughout the whole process. With the talented people at OJC, our site is not only appealing to students, but also functional."

OJC worked meticulously with OVP in the beginning stages to determine style preferences, site navigation, and programming needs. This strategy minimized the number of design modifications, helping to keep the project within budget. OJC used ASP to program the student services database, sortable by several methods, and styled it to integrate with the new site design.
