UIC site, designed by OJC Technologies, selected as Site of the Week by EDUCAUSE

EDUCAUSE, a non-profit organization that conducts initiatives and programs in the interest of advancing higher education through information technology, has selected the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) main website for their featured Site of the Week, for the week
beginning Monday, March 24, 2003.

OJC Technologies developed the design, information architecture, and software for the main site and six subsites including Admissions, Graduate College, and the News Bureau.

Key to this work was an overhaul of UIC's web identity. Campus web developers can now develop professional-looking sites using UIC's new identity with the Web Developers Workshop, also created by OJC Technologies.

"Now that we've made the Web Development Workshop available to campus webmasters, I expect that the entire UIC Web will continue to improve and build on what we created with the main site," said Kimberly Baxa, the Coordinator of Web Communications at UIC. "Thank you again for all your great work!"

The site has also received several awards including the International Association of Business Communicators' (IABC) Spectra Award,
and the Publicity Club of Chicago's Silver Trumpet Award.
