OJC delivers new Wheat Ridge Ministries website

Urbana, IL (October 4) - OJC Technologies, an information technology company specializing in software, database, and website development, today announced completion of its new website for Wheat Ridge Ministries (www.wheatridge.org). Wheat Ridge Ministries is a Lutheran charitable organization that provides support for health and hope ministries.

Wheat Ridge’s original site had overwhelming content of over 5000 pages, only 500 of which were relevant to their audience, and suffered from crashes on its donation page. Wheat Ridge wanted to professionalize and humanize their look, streamline their content, highlight their major initiatives, and be able to easily update their site in the future.

The new site effectively highlights Wheat Ridge's most timely projects, and effortlessly guides the user to these pages. Graphically, OJC gave the Wheat Ridge site a vibrant, friendly new face, beginning with a Flash home page that invites the user to explore Wheat Ridge's major initiatives. OJC used Flash's XML parsing capabilities to build this page in a format the client could easily revise. Inside, OJC developed elegant, easy-to-read pages, fully compatible with today's browsers and ready for tomorrow's technologies. To prepare the Wheat Ridge staff for future site updates, OJC created a library of standardized page components, which allows them to add and modify pages without compromising the site’s design.

The new site has been rolled out just in time for online sales of Christmas seals and Advent devotions
