Brandon BowersoxTechnology DirectorBrandon has served on a multitude of project teams integrating the perspectives of a manager, programmer, and user. He has spearheaded OJC's efforts to bring cost-effective usability engineering, web standards compliance and accessibility, and careful quality assurance to every project.
Brandon grew up in Urbana-Champaign, first attended the University High School, and then the University of Illinois where he earned a BS in Mathematics and began graduate-level work at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science. His mathematics coursework included Automata and formal languages, Graph theory, and Computational complexity. Brandon has wide-ranging experience as a system administrator, software engineer, database designer, and technical lead on over two dozen projects in his six years as a consultant through OJC.
As a system administrator, Brandon helped select technical platforms, server hardware, and network protocols for many clients including Governors State University and
Music Republic. Brandon has worked with the
University of Illinois Office of Technology Management to provide technology strategy as professor-inventors commercialize university technologies. Recently, Brandon has served as the product lead for
WebEasel, a content management web application, driving the product from conception and initial design to a proof of concept and now public release with a quickly-growing customer base.
