Senior Software Engineer

Sigfried co-founded OJC Technologies in 1998. After building the business from 2 to 16 employees in 3 years, he moved to Chicago to open an OJC Technologies satellite office. Prior to this move, he served as Technology Director for OJC. He has overseen hiring and staff development, directed the bidding and design of dozens of OJC's programming projects, managed the entire programming staff of the company, and he has been the person ultimately responsible for delivering quality products that meet a client's requirements and budget.

Sigfried began as an artist and became an engineer. After receiving an MFA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, he supported his writing projects for 12 years as a programmer and consultant for The Signature Group, Tradetech Securities, William M. Mercer, Inc, Sybase, Allstate Insurance, Metropolitan Life, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

He has 15 years experience in all aspects of full life-cycle development of software, with a specialization in database development. His programming expertise covers C/C++, Perl, Java, CGI, DBI, HTML, Javascript, XML, XSLT, Sybase, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and Unix and NT environments.
