Online Reviews of Children's Books
OJC created the online version of the Bulletin for the Center for Children's Books, which, in its printed form, has been the premier source of information for children's literature since 1948. Each issue presents 50-60 reviews of recent children's books. The online version allows librarians, teachers, and children to quickly search for reviews by age level, subject, keywords, author names, and other features. OJC implemented the journal in Perl, CGI, and DBI. OJC also created a colorful interface that appeals to an audience that enjoys the materiality of book reading.
