Customizable B2B websites
OJC designed and built a suite of tools for creating application-independent, database-driven websites facilitating the processing of commercial real estate mortgages for borrowers, brokers, and lenders. Dozens of distinct sites were built upon the same code-base. We built the system to allow new sites to use or override existing functionality with ease. We developed this product using a templating system where form is separated from content. The look and feel of each site can be customized using a centralized system of templates and style sheets where a few changes result in a dramatic makeover of the site. In this way we provide a convenient process for quickly building customized versions of our tools according to each client's unique criteria and corporate identity. MortgageSelector is one of the sites built using this "chameleon" tool.
