CLIENT

The National Parent Information Network is a project of the ERIC Clearinghouse on Elementary and Early Childhood Education.

CHALLENGE

ERIC approached OJC with a site rich with information on parenting, but institutional in appearance and difficult to navigate. ERIC wanted the site not only to have more visual appeal but also to help meet NPIN's mission of providing information to parents, educators, and family support professionals.

SOLUTION

OJC suggested a soft, human feel for the website and worked with ERIC to implement this idea in a way that accounted for the diverse site audiences. OJC also recommended a simplified navigational structure and visual consistency to reassure the user of his or her location within the site. The result was an award-winning site!
