XML data dissemination for
major sports statistics provider
OJC designed and implemented XML document types and relational databases to store, manage, and process large collections of sports statistics. Using Sun's JDBC library we wrote Java classes to move data between the databases and XML files. Starting from HTML mock-ups we coded XSLT transformations to generate HTML page fragments from the XML files. Stats now periodocally applies these XSLT transformations to distribute live HTML-rendered statistics to major sports media producers.
