UIC Development Office
The University of Illinois at Chicago Development Office is the central office responsible for fundraising efforts on the UIC campus. Development offices across campus rely on this central office for support, resources, and to stand as the front face of development activities on campus. OJC engaged with the Development Office to create the Office's first website. Through the course of the project, UIC Development's senior and mid-level leadership
changed. While the new leadership became acclimated to their positions, OJC supported them in gaining ownership over the project outcomes and moving ahead with the creation and launch of the website. The new website speaks to UIC's first generation graduates and donors with approachable labels, terminology, and design. In addition to the public website, OJC developed a password-protected Intranet for the Main Office to deliver resources and support to all units on campus. The Intranet is protected by the University's high-security Bluestem
system so users do not have to remember an extra password.
