Wireless and BSD Success StoriesCUWiNOJC Technologies is the development home for CUWiN, a cutting-edge, open source project. We are spreading open source mesh community-based networking worldwide, everywhere from Chicago, Illinois toGhana, Africa, from native American reservations to New Orleans recovery. CUWiN provides an integrated routing solution for community networks. It is built from the ground up to provide scalable link-state routing and mesh networking for computers, routers, and embedded devices. Based on NetBSD, it is portable to the widest array of architectures from x86 to MIPS and ARM processors. Open Society Institute/Soros FoundationIn partnership with CUWiN, OJC provided custom BSD wireless development to bring affordable and robust Internet access to under-served and low-income communities worldwide. We developed scalable, adaptable mesh routing and an easy web interface for configuration. Wasabi, Inc.OJC provides BSD wireless development for Wasabi Systems. Our wireless driver expertise helped Wasabi successfully deliver 802.11n driver software. Port to Meraki MiniWe have ported NetBSD and CUWiN to the revolutionary Meraki Mini. The Mini is an entire computer "system on a chip" including a MIPS processor provided by Atheros. OJC successfully delivers robust networking solutions using our BSD expertise coupled with subcontractors who are experts in many parts of the NetBSD kernel.
